LUME EXTRA ACOUSTIC SMOKE doors represent a top-tier solution for spaces where it is necessary to ensure not only fire protection but also to prevent the spread of smoke while minimizing noise. They meet the EI30 DP3 classification, meaning they function as a wooden fire barrier and prevent the spread of heat for 30 minutes. Simultaneously, they achieve smoke-tightness in the SA/S200 class, significantly contributing to the safe evacuation of persons in the event of a fire.
A major advantage of these doors is their acoustic performance – when using a threshold with a seal, they achieve an attenuation of up to 35 dB, and approximately 34 dB with a drop seal. Thanks to this, they effectively limit noise from surrounding areas and increase comfort in apartment buildings, offices, and commercial properties.
The doors are designed for installation into a fire-rated frame – for example, the Chadim DZDS two-part steel frame with a seal, which is installed into a masonry or plasterboard partition with a minimum thickness of 10 cm. The correct combination of door and frame is essential for achieving the required fire, smoke-control, and acoustic parameters.
In terms of design, the doors offer wide customization options – they can be manufactured in CPL and HPL laminate decors with various textures, or in a lacquered finish in RAL shades. This makes it easy to match the doors with the interior and other elements in the space.
