KICK PLATES

Kick plates are a functional door accessory used to protect the most stressed part – the bottom edge of the door leaf. They prevent damage caused by impacts, kicking, or contact with footwear, cleaning equipment, or transported objects.

They are most commonly used in high-traffic areas such as offices, schools, hotels, hospitals, or technical and commercial spaces, but they also find use in households. They significantly extend the lifespan of the door and maintain its aesthetic appearance even under intensive use.

Kick plates are usually made of durable materials, such as aluminum (ALU), which ensures strength and long life with minimal maintenance requirements. They are installed directly onto the bottom of the door and can be supplied in various heights or configurations – for example, as a pair (on both sides of the door) or single-sided.

In addition to their protective function, kick plates can also play an aesthetic role, complementing the door’s appearance with their simple design. They represent a practical and discreet solution that helps keep doors in good condition even during long-term and demanding operation.
