The doors meet the EI30 DP3 classification, meaning they function as a wooden fire barrier and prevent the spread of heat for 30 minutes. At the same time, they achieve smoke-control class Sa\/Sm, which limits smoke penetration during a fire and thus contributes to safer evacuation. <\/p>\n
The doors also provide acoustic insulation in the range of approximately 27\u201328 dB, contributing to higher living comfort, especially in apartment buildings. For an additional fee, a drop seal can be added to the door, ensuring effective sealing of the bottom part and supporting its smoke-control properties. <\/p>\n
The door construction is intended for installation into an approved steel fire door frame (e.g., type YH or HP) with a seal, or into a fire-rated wrap-around frame. Correct installation into a certified frame is key to meeting both fire and smoke-control parameters. <\/p>\n
